Waking up to disaster

Its 10am and I wake up to a laptop to find you on the chat screen. I have to hide myself with a mask to hide my inner feelings. I hold my breath to reply to your salutation. That little greeting led me into a whole conversation of fake laughter.

You are then blinded by my mask, only thinking I am a happy creature. IN that mask, I stream tears of pain and suffering. It's now 2PM and I have already streamed tears to fill the people dying of thirst in the world. I take in my second breath to a new chapter in our conversation.

You are blinded by the way I reply with smileys and laughs. You continue to emphasize on your evening with him. The man you stole from me. I had to say it was ok. It was for the best for you.

It is finally 3PM and I take the mask of once you have left. My eyeliner and mascara had left marks all over my face, caused by my tears.

It is 3.05PM and he opens up a chat and I put on a new mask to hide me tears, at least until the next year.
